this is a great movie for children who are familiar with the book or are interested in what happens to this character. also great for preteens who want to know what happens next in apocalypto, or similar movies based on the book. this is rated PG-13 so it's not suitable for younger kids but can be watched by older children who have read about apocalypto, or by older kids/adults who have read about this particular novel.
